WENGER EYES NEXT JOB

17/10/18

Arsene Wenger has told German newspaper Bild he is ready to return to work after five months out of football, and is eyeing starting his next job in the new year.

The former long-serving Arsenal manager has remained largely out of the public eye in England since leaving the Emirates, and is coy about where his future could take him now.

"I believe I'll start again on January 1st," Wenger told Bild. "I don’t know yet [where I’m headed]. I am rested, and I am ready to work again."

"There are associations, national teams; it could be also [in] Japan," said Wenger. "Thanks to my 22 years at Arsenal, I have big experience on different levels. There are enquiries from all over the world."
