Neil Etheridge on Cardiff's poor start to the season

"You can look at the stats but then look at who we’ve played. Four of these teams we’ve played will probably finish in the top six, but we were unlucky against Arsenal and Chelsea I thought.”

On adjusting to life in the Premier League

NEIL ETHERIDGE:

"It’s tough, I’m learning as much as I can and as quickly as I can. But we’re all in this tomorrow and we want to learn throughout the season, keep our heads down and keep performing. We need to score some goals, we know that and that would take some pressure off our defence."

"We’re happy with what we’ve done even though we’ve not got the points - but hopefully we’ll turn those losses and draws into wins."

"We’re all professionals and we want to win and we know in the Premier League you don’t win every week."

"The strikers in the Premier League are a lot more clinical, they don’t need many chances to put the ball in the net.”

Neil Etheridge on his time with Fulham

My time there is in the past. I’m looking forward not back. For me it’s a part of my career that I appreciate and it’s just another club I’m facing in the Premier League.”

Neil Etheridge:

People will talk about Mitrovic but you don’t spend £100m without having some quality players all over the pitch. They’ll be a few top players out there tomorrow.”
