Gunnar more suited to the Premier League

Excellent today. Just seems to have that class that comes out at international and Premier League level.

Was dominant today.

Having someone like Arter alongside him can only help. Felt the Gunner/Grujic position was one we really should have improved on over this summer and today showed why and how important having someone like that is with so many other attacking players.

Couldn't fault him today.

What I liked most was that Arter didn’t look like our best player today like normal and that was because the rest of the players stepped up.

And some fans were saying he was useless. Made a huge difference today. A Crainey-less Fulham midfield was no match for a rampaging performance from the Iceman.

That’s the problem with most of our fans there quick to jump onto players backs.

The unfit Gunnarsson at the end of last season wasn’t anywhere near good enough. Fully fit he definitely is.

Some of us are the ficklest fans in fickle land.

Certainly played well today. Long may it continue.

We've been missing this specialist position all season which is why I was a big supporter when he signed and is also why our CBs have been horribly exposed this season. Ralls has done his best but positionaly you just can't compare him with Gunner, who's been playing this position for years for both club and country.

I hope he doesn't get any reaction to his first 60mins and is available for Liverpool as he will be huge for that game.

Class perfomance from the whole club today! Fans & players in it together and the CCS bouncing!!

This post even more relevant now.

I think he was tired of the Championship.

thought he was very good before the injury last season myself and was unlucky that his return coincided with poorer results in our tougher games, which of course some people jumped on.
