When rugby fans have to be segregated at matches and have police escorts to games and write on message boards about the ‘results’ achieved against other football fans in days gone by then maybe they will clamp down on rugby fans the same way they do with football fans.
Quite clearly, while acting like dickheads, rugby fans are just that. Pissed up dickheads. Football hooliganism is a far more sinister and troubling phenomenon.
How many times do mobs of rugby fans ‘have it off’?
It’s not even a comparison.

I’m not sure anyone thinks they are squeaky clean at the rugby mate. Police say different and highlight the issues in town on Match days. Walesonline are always writing up reports of people playing up at the rugby including this article.
Not sure what people want?

No no no.
See these little wombats have had a scrap in the stadium and there punishment is to be thrown out.
Now if that was to happen at the football your whole life would probably get turned upside down.
This happens on a regular in the stadium on international days but it’s just drunken rugby hijinx.
There is double standards with rugby and football always has always will be. From schools to policing it’s just facts. It’s that brave sport that real hard gentlemen play

Not sure what people want?
3 year banning orders
out of proportion fines
coaches turned around for breaching the no drinking law
jail sentences.
the police to have a rugby intelligence unit.
its not so much people want these things in rugby ...just want to see it a bit fairer..
you do have sound points about mobs...but in the here and now and for many years your far more likely to see violence and bad behaviour in the ground in the city and on trains from rugby fans
