Loved going there? I went there five times in the 70's, I still have nightmares

Went there in 77, we scored and they went nuts, there crew attacked whilst chanting listen to the Lions roar, my mate Joey only 15 at the time had a good pop back. Phil Dwyer was confronted by one of there gang whilst on the pitch. A crazy place to go.

I only saw the first half

I think we all only saw first half as Police separated the both sets and we were escorted to the rear of the stand. Whist the game continued. , it was here where they waited outside for us and began lobbing the old milk bottles over a gate. When we boarded our coach and began the journey home the coach was ambushed and they threw bricks smashing th coach windows, a very memorable occasion, City won 2 nil.

An awesome atmosphere by Millwall and by Cardiff fans on everyone of our visits there

I spent the second half hiding in a maintenance shed behind the main stand. I climbed out of the ground though, well half out anyway as that area was still within the general area. Never forget Pegleg that day. Without his stick ,half a dozen coppers and a door opening at the back of the stand we would have been in even bigger trouble.

Paterson looks to break, but he’s far too isolated and it’s easy for Everton to clear the danger.

This is very encouraging from the visitors. Everton are struggling to get in behind the Bluebirds.

Possession

Everton have had 77% of the ball so far, but credit to Cardiff, they’ve defended really well and have limited the Toffees to precious little.

Like going on a roller coaster liked the idea of going but when you were on wish you weren't there but when it was all over couldn't wait to go again .been loads of times including last season

Always went by train to the old Den. Underground from Paddington to Whitechapel was ok, but from there to New Cross Gate, and then a fair walk to Cold Blow Lane was a bit different. Had to have your wits about you!

Been to the new Den a few times, but on the supporters' club coaches, like last season. Still a unique atmosphere, but nothing like BITD.

Can see the new place in the top right of the photo.

Went there one Saturday but missed my train,was offered a ride in a Bargoed van hire box van,whilst looking for parking up there a load of Wall came out of a pub and bottled the van.
Had to go in with the halfway mob,saw the mayhem to our right with City holding their own,Dwyer clashed with their keeper and their keepers down,Dwyer holding his head feeling groggy gets attacked on the pitch,Wall all around us going mental.
Made it back to the van only to see it smashed up tyres slashed etc,we eventually got back home Sunday night,scary but great laugh back then.

was in the away end { many more Wall than Cardiff } not sure about holding our own it felt like we finished 3rd..was like Roukes drift in there with wave after wave of attacks with lots of us being driven out the back at half time.
