Wingback

The question is after playing 3 at the back and wingback and winning against Wolves would you like to see it more often?

Personally I've always thought we struggled playing wingback and thought we really struggled first half. Against a better team I think we would have struggled, to many gaps and spaces. At 1-0 v Wolves they had a chance to break on the half way mark with 5 against out 1 thankfully a bad touch from wolves and we got possession back.

If we did we have options as wings back Hoilett, Patterson and Bennett obvious options. Imo one of Bamba or Morrison then Manga and probably Cunningham.

Warnock said after the match that he only did it because he had to.

Said he wasn’t sure about Camarasa and Hoilett as wing backs, and didn’t want to do it again.

If we do get a striker in Jan it might be a good way of getting Peterson into the team. With Pato & Bennet as wing backs etc.

Arta, Camarassa, & Gunner has a good balance to it. Murphy or Reid having a free role around the Striker looks good! We look a lot more solid at the back with the 3 as long as we don't concede a set peice!!

No chance. Warnock has already said Patterson cannot defend. His position is up top, he has an eye for goal, is great in the air and is great at pressing.
