You are right about the inter City rivalry mate between Saints and Pompey but in recent times it has really only been Cup games where the two have played each other, what has really pissed off the Saints fans is how well little town Bournemouth have done in sustaining Premier League status and finishing above Southampton. The Saints fans treat Bournemouth with disdain, but deep inside they must resent their success.
