First home game for my lad.

Mon Dec 10, 2018 9:50 am

Took my eight year old lad to the first home game. He loved it ! Took tremendous pride in his club and never seen him so totally excited. He is absolutely proud of being Welsh, even though we live in North London. His school is an Arsenal bastion and all the kids are Arsenal supporters. What does he wear in ? City top and scarf. Great day for a little boy and a bluebird through and through. Makes his dad proud. :D :ayatollah:

I feel for you. I'm in Cheshire. My School is full of Man United and Man City fans. My lad has his first season ticket this year too. Went to a few games last year and loves it! He has Bluebirds pencil case, scarf, hat, anything!! They started taking the mick, he's since managed to persuade a couple of neutrals to follow us! Up to 3 fans in his class now!! Proud Dad too! :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Good lad. My boy is the same. Blue City pencil case. He really does not care about his mates supporting Arsenal. He is City crazy and stands his ground. Good to see our boys showing that loyalty. They will be the next generation and that is lovely for a dad to see. :bluescarf:

Exactly. Not all about 'supporting' the teams at the top! He's probably the only one in his class who attends games and knows what it's like to actually support a team! Although an ex City GK's son is in his class. Did a Q&A for them, My boy... "How many goals did you save for Cardiff?!" Couldnt care less about him winning the league! Haha
