Still 4 points above 18th

Sat Dec 15, 2018 4:34 pm

We just aren’t the same away from home without our 12th man.

Simple fact is we are performing above ourselves at home.

That is a credit to our manager and our team and most importantly our great fans.

Due some luck against the big boys haven't had any so far, besides difficulties of next 6 games we have to play most of our rivals away from home, Whilst can't complain at out present position it's still touch and go if can stay up? Personally think we are a bit short unless of course we do some good business in window.

Can’t argue with that. To be fair we have loads of luck really in games against the lower half.

It has very little do with the crowd the Problem is how defensively we play away from home just sitting back and letting pass it around on the edge of our box. Need to press teams higher up the pitch like we do at home.

Not sure I agree.

The players have that little extra at home the crowd can provide.

Southampton beat Arsenal today so the gap is two points.

Re: Still 4 points above 18th

Question is will we get any points from next 5 games or so? Our 2 home games are man u spurs, and the others are 4 away from home, at present away we dont look like winning a lucky bag never mind a footy game!

Watch the difference in our tactics between home and away more closely. We just sit back away from home instead of pressing teams high up like we do at home. The sitting back obviously doesn’t work and then later on in the games when we do start to press higher we do a lot better.

Warnock admitted after the game,we were hoping to frustrate them for 60 ins, then have a real go :? We are not good enough to invite teams to swarm all over us for an hour,as we have found out  look what happens the moment we have to go for it,maybe have a go early on,put defenders in two minds from the get go,I'm not advocating all out attack, but we have to put doubts in minds a lot more than we are at present. :bluescarf:

I'm not expecting much from either Man Utd or Spurs games but (as always) we live in hope...

Last time out at home, we were unlucky versus Man Utd...

Unlucky that we didn't beat them (2-2 draw) after Shrek should have been sent off!

Sven there is a good chance won't get anything from next 5 games unless something drastically changes in our playing style.. we are in danger of dropping into the bottom with very little chance of getting out of it..

Would'nt rule us out against Utd. We may just ruffle a few feathers. Odds will be against us, but then again they usually are.

Hopefully they will be in free fall now he’s been sacked. Sadly, will probably have the opposite effect.

Yes negative with reason? Home form ok but do you honestly think we will win both games? And away form is so fantastic we will win next 3 ? :o

So let's be realistic then 4/5 points will be good in next 5 games let's just hope other teams continue to have bad runs
