Newcastle star Ayoze Perez has been speaking ahead of his side’s clash with Cardiff and believes the Magpies have to pile the pressure on the visiting Bluebirds tomorrow afternoon:



“We have to make the other team feel the pressure.
We have to make them feel uncomfortable, press them as much as we can, and go for it.
We have to believe in ourselves. We have enough quality to win games and, especially in this league, you feel uncomfortable when you are put under pressure when the other team is at it.
“This is what we need to try and do in order to change our form at home because it hasn’t been good enough.”

However poor they have been playing, they will be expecting us to roll over and lose. If we're giving them a good game after half hour the crowd will get edgy and nervous and as you say, they'll turn - we've seen it in the past with previous managers at ccfc.

City not done well on their travels, so no massive expectation and that could work in our favour. Toon supporters (like most) are great when things are going well but are sure to get a little rattled should Cardiff frustrate them or even take a rare lead

This is a genuinely 'big' game in both club's season but the onus is surely on the home side?
