Oumar Niasse only became a Cardiff City player yesterday, yet the on loan Everton man leads the line for the Bluebirds against Newcastle, as Neil Warnock picks an attacking line-up at St James’ Park.

It looks like a 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1 depending on your perspective, with Callum Paterson in the No.10 role in behind Niasse. Joe Ralls comes into midfield, with Aron Gunnarsson on the bench and no sign of Harry Arter whatsoever.

That's an interesting starting line up for City with Niasse and Paterson up front in a 4-4-2

Joe Ralls sorry we have lost before we begin. Call me negative but that midfield is crying out for Gunnarsson especially given that Arter is not playing. We are going to be over run and under pressure. Beside this Murphy should be on the pitch. Down beat by this line up

Bamba is a right footed centre back covering the left hand position.

Ncastle always were favourite to win around 2-0 regardless of the team we put out nothings changed
