PLAYING CONSTANTLY DEFENSIVE

When are we going to grab a game by the balls like last season where is the never say die attidude neil is playing way to defensively have we got an attacking coach ? Sala will be having 2nd thoughts so f.cking frustrating watching.

3 at the back with Bennett and maybe NML as wing backs

2 holding midfielders a more attacking midfielder and 2 strikers

Problem is when it gets tougher and tougher and the worse we play the more defensive we will go.

Can we go anymore defensive than we are starting games at moment? Even against Huddersfield we had 11 men back for corner and free kicks ! Whilst can't go gung ho we certainly can have a mindset of pushing forward during game not wait until 80mins,

Two upfront yesterday virtually, granted they didn't see much of the ball how did that go?

Patterson must be carrying a knock too, or is knackered he doesn't look the same player?

The point is if we look to attack more we concede more like Fulham.

The Premier League defenders cope too easily with playing long, hit & hope, high balls. Yesterday, if Paterson did win a header via a flick on, it led to nothing.
Hopefully Sala can bring the extra class that can unlock these superior defences.

Exactly we got easily beat by one of the worst teams in the League !!!

Dion Dublin just said "give your team a chance to score".

For me that's where we are falling down. Our inability to string more than a couple of passes together or bring the ball down rather than aimlessly heading or kicking forward is what is hurting us. Yes we needed a striker..we have 2. But we still vitally need to create the chances for these guys.
