He's certainly making his case and I'm beginning to think that of he had the kind of Director of Football 'controller' they wanted to force upon Jose Mourinho, he could get to keep his temporary job beyond the end of this season

Proof that most big name managers can only do it when they inherit a ready made squad.
Once the chips are down and they have to find solutions and build a squad with limited funds most would fail
Warnock would probably do well with those players aswell
