Harry Arter - An opportunity?

Sun Jan 20, 2019 10:19 am

So nobody seems to know if he can be recalled or not to then be sold. Assuming he does go back I guess we have a loan slot to then use, maybe someone like Ampadu. Harry Arter this season, no goals, no assists, six bookings? Is he that good?

Yes he is
The work he does in our midfield is immense. He also allows Camarasa the freedom to play and create for us further up. He would be a huge loss. We are better off matching Whatever bid has come in and signing him permanently, then we wi have a free loan space

Its been reported that he wants to move closer to his family in London, so I doubt he would sign for us even if we were mid table.

If he goes I guess we can put Paterson in midfield which would then leave Sala and Niasse up top and hopefully get another loanee in midfield someone a bit more creative take the pressure off Camarasa who is heavily marked

Regardless of ruling. It was in the contract as part of the deal. Agreed to no call back.
Basically that rule stands IF there's been no such agreement. They have the option to call back.

If it was to happen (which it can't) its a breach of contract.

I saw Harry after the game at Newcastle station and he was happy enough - just got his Meal Deal at M&S

That's one of the Newcastle players, Matt Ritchie. Mates with Harry from Bournemouth days.
