Ross McCormack opens up on playing with Usain Bolt
21/01/19
The former Cardiff City striker was on hand to set up the former Olympic champion’s first goal as a footballer in a game for Australian side Central Coast Mariners.
Now, in an interview with BBC Sport, he’s revealed what it was like to play alongside the the former sprinter.
“It was just mad. You never expect it. What I said all along was that he was such a nice, humble guy. He got in with the stories, the banter, so we couldn’t really ask for any more.
“When he got into it, he opened up a couple of times and it was like a blur.”
“It was good if he was in your team, you just hit the space.
“He’s not a footballer. Still not a footballer, but he tried. He had decent attributes, maybe the coaching staff didn’t think enough to offer him the contract he wanted.”

Ross McCormack? Who's dat?
Didn't we used to have a promising player of the same name who drove a Range Rover when under the influence and left when he took a-fence one evening?
Actually, he did well for us but a serious waste of time and talent since!

He's had a fairly interesting career to be fair to him, I honestly assumed he was in league 1 somewhere having a bang average season.

He is still on Asto Villa's books though he has not played for them for ages. On a cool £80,000 per week so they would love to get rid of him. He is currently on loan at Motherwell.
