Obviously this is worse comes to worst, but I think it would be a wonderful gesture by the club.

Hoping for positive news of course :bluebird:

I agree with this .

he was signed by us to play in the premier league and I think he should be given a registered number ..27 is fitting this young lad will forever be remembered by us and rightly so ,no better way in my opinion

Already said to my lady, last night, that Sala’s name will be going on the back of my shirt no matter the outcome on this.

I’m sure the club will have something planned. While the search continues, let’s hope for positive news.

I loved the look on Salas face in every picture I saw of him, feel numb and stunned. Will get a shirt with his name on it.

Don’t mean to be rude, and I think that this is a very good idea, but am I missing something with the use of the number 27?

If he's not found at all. I do think it would be class by the club and the premier league to allow us to register Sala as one of the players in the 25 man squad. In the clearly impossibly unlikely chance he is found alive somewhere. Look, everyone knows by now the worst has happened, but without them being able to confirm it it would be nice to be allowed to register him as part of the 25 just out of respect, because we won't officially be registering someone who isn't alive as it wouldn't have been confirmed...

Another suggestion, and yeah why would we give him #27? Maybe 28 for his age but I don't understand the number 27...

This is a good shout, also seen somebody mention that the club could put ‘Sala’ on the sleeve for the rest of the season, think this would upset JD sport as that’s their place of sponsorship, also seen it mentioned about the whole stadium wearing yellow against Bournemouth with blue & white scarves, not sold on this as our colours are blue..... saying that I know we’ve had yellow as 2nd and 3rd tops over the years.

Whatever is decided I do believe it will be a fitting tribute to such a promising player
