Bolton's players and staff have still not been paid their February wages, with confusion over the future of the club continuing to dog its season.
A takeover by a Cheshire-based consortium had been expected to be finalised this week, but their interest appears to have cooled in recent days, Sky Sports News understands.
It is also understood this morning that the club's training ground is closed, as no food and supplies are available, meaning staff have been told to stay at home.
