Gary Bowyer has been appointed as Bradford's manager until the end of the season. The new man has a big job on his hands, with Bradford on a run of five games without a win and six points inside the League One bottom three.

Bowyer has been out of work since he resigned as Blackpool manager last August, and said: “I am absolutely delighted to be here. This is a massive club and the opportunity to manage Bradford City doesn’t come along that often. It was one I had to take.

"I have been ready to get back into management for a while but it’s been about getting the right opportunity. This is a fantastic one for myself and for Andy (Todd)."
