Gunnars has been a great servant to the club but just like Whitts I think his time here is up.

Probably the right move for him, he's been great for us but time to move on

Mr Shed wrote:Been a great 8 years with him here, good luck to him in his career away from here.

I have no complaints, thanks for the memories.

I'm sure he'll play our final run of games with the same commitment and fight that he has done since joining.

Will be applauded off heavily at the end of the season, no bitterness.

He'll need to, otherwise there'll be accusations levelled against him that he's holding himself back in readiness for his Summer move. To be honest, this announcement should have waited until post-season, purely for the reason I have just stated.

agree about the announcement but it seems to be how football is.
the respect everyone in the game has for fans over various issues has been eroded to meaning next to nothing.

Rate him or not I don't think many if any have ever questioned his commitment during a game. Some can question his quality at this level and its all about opinions but even if he is struggling in a game he gives his all. I literally have no concerns at all about him not giving his all during the run in, that's his game.

Al Arabi have already tweeted an audio clip if Gunarsson announcing his imminent arrival.

Great servant of our Club, but I think (if true) that the timing is right for all concerned.

Agree with both. The timing is ridiculous and I can't help but feel negatively about him now. He's a weird one because even though he's been around for a while I've never felt he's been committed. Even in the sense that most of the players get together in the off season as well but he never really does. Plus he's always been saying he might go off.

Ridiculous comments.

in an age where players move around clubs every couple of years, he's shown alot of loyalty to the club. big character.

he's been a very important player for us, and has improved massively since he's been here. after euro 2016 he really kicked on.

he's fully entitled to take a payday in dubai. after 8 years mainly in the championship he hasnt earned as much as he could have, had he been more money orientated.

i wish him all the best.
Sir

He's definitely overrated. He looked slow and off the pace against Liverpool.
