£1.2mill owed to Tax man

Bolton Wanderes have been given 2 weeks to pay the Tax Man, or be wound up.

They still owe some staff wages a well

What a sad situation to find a club like Bolton Wanderers in with their history,hope they can get it sorted,for me it shows the dangers of the Premier league evil organisation in my eyes

Apparently, the owner (who all Bolton supporters want rid of) turned up at the hearing and told the judge that he is in advanced talks with a prospective buyer, who is already shareholder of another club. He has said that the purchase will conclude in 2 weeks and that all creditors will be satisfied then.

We'll see.

These clubs always seem to regroup and come back eventually.look at Portsmouth and Luton for example.dead and buried and now booming again.
