Why did Salah sneak off the pitch?

I am not saying it wasn't a penalty as Morrison was very naïve and gave Salah the opportunity to perform theatrics and "win" a penalty. And its very unlikely it would have changed the result anyway.


But did anyone else notice that as soon as the whistle went, Salah who was hogging the touchline in the last few seconds, immediately headed straight off the pitch and down the tunnel, avoiding everyone. He was gone in seconds. The rest of the Liverpool players stayed on the pitch to shake hands with the Cardiff players and officials and to go over to their fans. Salah was nowhere to be seen.

Was it because he knew he had dived and wanted to avoid the Cardiff players at the end and particularly Warnock?
