Personally, I think that it is a bit early to form an opinion based on a tabloid newspaper article. Given the conflicting information and the reaction among fans, it now seems inevitable that a statement will have to be issued in the next 24 hours. I suggest that we all wait for that.

The truth is that this club has lived on the edge for years. Without any formal statements to the contrary, I would assume that the Malaysian's due diligence process continues - in this respect, the Christmas holiday will not have helped. Two months for such a process is not uncommon.
