Yorke calls for mandatory retirement for mangers .

What's your thoughts.
Dwight Yorke has called for the Premier League to introduce a mandatory age limit on managers

Roy Hodgson has been absolutely magnificent throughout his career and for what he has done in the game.

"From a personal point of view, young managers need to be given the chance. Roy needs to be respected for the work he has done, but there comes a time when these managers over 70 years old need to be moved on.

"As players we have to retire and referees have to retire so managers should also be able to retire. I just feel like there should be a mandate and a cut-off point when managers get to a certain age.

"I’m not saying these managers can’t be involved in football. Roy could be a director of football, but if you’re a football manager at 70 years old, there should be a mandate in place."

Jesus, There are laws Dwight.

You retire as a footballer because no one will employ you at the rate you want to be paid.

Maybe he thinks in his twisted mind that he'd have a job if they got rid of the over 70s. TBH even if they got rid of every manager over 40 nobody would employ him as a manager.

Dwight The Shite has pinned himself to the fast disappearing woke crank bandwagon a little bit to late but I suppose he would now be known as an "ageist". The reason that Roy and others have done well for so long is that they are simply good at what they do, age doesn't come into it.

What he's suggesting is is yet again an example of demonising meritocracy for your own gain, the right person gets the job irrelevant of age, sex, race or whatever side of the road you park your bike on. Yet another PC card to play to try to get into positions you aren't good enough for, but this time on age.

Sorry Dwight, that game is now being called out for the dangerous BS it is plus nobody listens to someone who is clearly incapable of being a decent father to his own children.

Because he wants a job and is too useless to get one :laughing6:

Footballers don't have to retire they just get worse with age and can't find work anymore.
