They’ve won the Welsh league for the second year in a row after beating Swansea City 4-0 tonight.

Any idea why they aren't in the English pyramid like CCFC men? Seems like a missed opportunity

There’s another Cardiff women’s team who do play in the English system, they were a club before the official women’s team were created.

Don’t know if that stopped us entering ours into the English system because this other women’s team were previously affiliated with the club before they cut ties.

Women’s football is getting bigger so I would expect there would have to be a lot of investment if we wanted to get into the WSL if we were in the English system.
