Just voted my fave... B Clark, J Perry,P Dwyer, Kav, Earnie. Felt bad that i didn't put down Leggy Stanty etc, but i didn't put Bellers as he hasn't played many games yet, but if he leads us to the promised land then a gold picture should be hung from the walls

John Charles i didn't vote for as he is MR Leeds and we didn't mean much to the bloke.

I was going to put him in Jason, I thought he was great, some good photos off him, I just thought many of todays fans would never off heard off him.

I feel old now does anyone remember Peter Sayer.
Sat Oct 09, 2010 6:08 pm
For me it's got to be Rhys Weston, quiet conscientious player, much under-rated.
Sat Oct 09, 2010 6:25 pm
What, no Ian Gibson?!

These Polls along with other types are not really a true reflection of Who Is The Greatest etc. Most polls contain people from the recent past so not a true reflection of any genre. People vote obviously for recent players because they saw them play. You will not see many votes for players from the twenties to the seventies. Anyway I voted fro Fred Keenor because I saw him play

Let's get Paul Ramsey on that list too
Sat Oct 09, 2010 7:46 pm

Alan Curtis....
Sat Oct 09, 2010 8:04 pm
The players listed are a mixture of good and pure dross. So many other players available but then one needs to be old enough to have heard of them.

Unbeleivable how Bellamy whose only played 3 times for us is topping the poll.
Also amazed that Kav has more votes than the likes of Dwyer (top appearance holder), Charles and the bloody FA Cup winner Keenor !
Others who would be in the top 11 IMHO are Alf Sherwood (hero of our post war team and man who repudely scared the life out of Finney and Matthews), Ron Stitfall (2nd highest appearances) and Len Davies (record goalscorer).
