As a percentage it looks awful but we have the 5th biggest ground in the league. Going off that percentage, we average 21,400 against a capacity of 33,280

I’d say that’s a comfortable top 10 attendance?

If my figures are right of course lol

Cardiff have averaged about 21,500 at home and that includes an average of over 2,000 away fans coming to the CCS:

Grounds to big for us, I think last time we were in the premier league we only had over 31000 six times and in those games there were a fair number of away fans dotted around in the home end

There's unfortunately too many plastics in South Wales.

And if we were in the Millenium stadium or even the old Ninian Park that % would be even smaller.Totally meaningless stat in my view.

If you don’t play attractive football then you’re not going to fill your stadium and we don’t half play some unattractive football!

Yes - being brutally honest, I liken some of our football at home matches this season to being put through an army assault course in the pissing rain.

It hasn't exactly encouraged walk up crowds has it?

The football could be more entertaining definitely. Setting the side up to go for the throat at home might help matters.

People forget the red seats were (at least partly) put in to help provide space for the Wales team to have a permanent home, so there is an agument our useful capacity should be c.27500

Thaat would make our average attendance c.77% (still a lowly 16th in the above table)

Most of those top supported clubs have either recently or historically spent the majority of their history in the top or second tier you will never ever build a big fan base having spent only 17 seasons in the top division in 125 years . you will just get increased attendances if your heading for promotion or big cup games with all this off field shit we constantly have to put up with I'm surprised there's still so many supporting.
