Can't see this one being true if the deal is only £2m.

Probably worth £3-4 million, depending on who is bidding, but clubs will be aware of our 'problems' and offer below. We would take £2.7m cash, I'm sure.

Got to be nearer £5 million !!

Depends how much we really paid for him in the summer. Hope the club wouldn't sell for less than he cost us six months ago.

I've been ridiculed for saying since we signed Chopra that it was an expensive gamble we couldn't afford. I do like Chopra, though I do prefer McCormack, but it simply wasn't a viable option for a club in our position to sign him. It would be a help were he to bring money into the club and equally to get him off the wage bill, however due to how generously Mr Ridsdale dishes out llucrative contracts, it will not be significant enough to considerably lessen a wage bill of £1.2m per month. At least if Chops does go, we have a quality player in Ross to come in, but then he's been here all along which made his signing above other areas such as midfielders complete folly imo.

That'll be sold for an undisclosed amount then. Something else for Ridsdale to hide from us

They will love him up there though, he may very well become a cult hero. He is a likeable character, I for one will be pretty pissed if he goes though. I thought we were keeping all our stars  This is what Peter said -
“We don’t want to let any key players go.” another masterful double speak quote
