Moving to Liverpool/Wirral

Wed Jan 26, 2011 4:51 pm

Moving to Wirral/Liverpool In the next month or so, permanently. As gutted as I am to be leaving my city of Cardiff, if we get to the premiership ive realised that with my away membership I'll be going to watch the bluebirds against Liverpool, Everton, Man Utd, Man City, Stoke, Bolton, Wigan and Blackpool ( if they stay up) . All in or around the north west!!! Of course I'll go all over to watch the boys in blue, but it's gna be like going to home games for me IF we go up. No pressure then lads, just do the job!!!

Couldn't agree more mate, I've been back and forth for 3 years. I just wish there was a North Wales Cardiff City fan club or somewhere nearer, I just won't be able to have an outlet. The hardest part will becoming a dad eventually and trying to tell my boy (please god a boy) not to support Liverpool but instead choose Cardiff. The thought of having to buy Liverpool kits makes me I'll!

The problem your gonna have fella is the away tickets especially for the games you have mentioned will sell out like hotcakes and with the amount of season ticket holders we have the away membership fans wont have a hope in hell.

Most away clubs supply 3,000 tickets max for league games so you cam imagine the scramble, if i was you i'd make good friend with a season ticket holder who don't go to many away games. ;)

Hit me where it hurts fella! Nah my old man is a groundsman down there and I know a few people at the club. I'm hoping I'll be a jammy sod and be able to get my hands on these tickets. Let's cross that golden bridge if it comes, I know I bloody deserve it. If not, you will probably see the old bill escorting me out of the kop. Lol.

All the best. Liverpool is a great city I was a there as a student and on the dole 1990-95. There was quite a few us used to do aways regularly (boro away 94 replay stands out), some students some working and living there - we all bumped into each other on way back from wrexham one year and from then on used to meet up in the yankee bar along lime street. Suprised liverpool and everton there to have a little mob of cardiff. I would have thought there'd be a few City in the vicinity and one of the lads is still there in croxteth I believe. I usually have a weekend shopping trip once a year with the mrs and stay in the adelphi cos I miss the place. Transalpino closed last year unfortunately, used to get some good gear in there.

Or get a season ticket, sell it on to a mate for a couple of quid cheaper but it will then help me get priority over away tickets?
