You cannot play for cash in a pub.
We used to play online on Friday nights on the darkside (CCMB), we just need to pick an online company that everyone uses or can easily register with.

i play in a pub every tuesday night. £10 in. between 6 + 12 of us pay. winner takes 60 quid max, the rest goes into a pot, then after 3 months we play and the pot can be anywhere over £500 depending on numbers.
ofcourse we dont sit there with the cash on the table, keep it hidden away, and everyones happy
