The club would argue that it is still a freeze on the price that would have been charged had we been a Premiership club at the time of the offer. In fairness to the club it was acknowledged at the time that if we did get promoted the base price wouldn't rise, which always seems to happen when a club is promoted to the EPL.

if the price don't change it's still a freeze regardless of what league we are in . what your saying is if you get a pay freeze and this year was a leap year 366 days next year 365 days you had a rise same pay for 1 day less work

You know what I bet Ridsdale worked it out like that in hope that we were getting promotion last season. Well done to the person who started this topic because this is another reason why Ridsdale should be banned from football all together
