We've never really celebrated Valentine's Day but decided to do something this year because our work loads have meant we've had little time together over the last month. Anyway, sod's law, I came down with flu (not man flu, actual flu!) on Thursday and I've been bed ridden since. Only just managed to make it up and about today. So we won't be going anywhere but I will be treating her to a romantic night out next week to make up for it.

Al these "special" days are a waste of money, cards flowers etc apart from birthdays/Christmas they should all be binned.As well as Hallewean,an American idea,FFS we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving soon
