Similar to the JBs at Sheff Utd and Ipswich.

Sheff Utd - the buses were turned back because of long traffic delays, if they had carried on they would have got there after the game so only those who went by car/train got there
Ipswich - Snow + it was on sky

That's poor excuses, even you must know that?

Forgot that they were there

Re: scunny support

Poor support but they are the loyal supporters who pay a fair amount of money to support their team, even tho they are favourites to lose so hats off to the 63 that travelled :ayatollah:

Re: scunny support

Thats a bullshit reply. So the buses should just carry on so that all the fans miss the game?

I think they live within their means, and the Hooper fee would have helped them nicely in the summer just past. Think they posted a loss of half a million last year. It's how they would cope with relegation, that's another matter altogether.

And fair dos to scunthorpe, not much money, play with what they got and they do well in this league :ayatollah:

Game went ahead. Weather wasn't that bad clearly.

Other teams managed it in worse conditions at the Lane and at Hillsbrough this season as well.

No, poor excuse. I'm told by people at the Lane the Jacks weren't bringing many anyway. Would've been one of the lowest regardless.

Some folk made it, how many were turned back in all honesty? If there was that many then a request to hold the game up would have been in order, and I can't seee why it would have been knocked back.

The Ipswich excuse is shit. TV or not, you go to the game if you can.

the main problem was the coach companies had their sat navs nicked in the week before the game-as a result they had to get directions. Pikey Coaches had just taken on a young lad named Johnny. Johnny organised the route. The 2 coaches did not make it. Sheffield via Brighton is a b*stard of a journey.

So we won 1-0 against a team who run on bellers wages every week in week out does that make are club shocking for winning only 1-0 not at all its football and i praise the 63 that come down,WE AS A CLUB BUDGET per year could run 25 scunny teams, staff, grounds men ect and they do what we do in the same league with a pittyfull budget (div2) compared to ares with 4500 av gates so slagging them dont go far really one teams is over achieveing and one team is under achieveing it dont take a rocket scientist to figure which one we are. :ayatollah:

All the buses were turned back and there is no way the gam would have been held up for nearly 2 hours!

No.1 wernt your Wigan tickets £10 and buy one get one free? Plus it had the Martinez factor.

Also, with the poor support at Sheff Utd and Ipswich....are you saying nearly all of your away support travels on coaches? I would have thought a lot would go by car train etc. Perhaps you should just admit you've a shit following
