Shay Given.......

Surely having someone of the quality of Shay Given is a no brainer, Get him in A.S.A.P . my heart wont take much more!!!

The same source that told me about Given told me that Marshall is injured, hasn't fallen out with DJ(well any more than any player dropped!)

If we get Shay in i think automatic promotion would be sealed. Heaton worries me there is always a mistake waiting to come out.

If Heaton would grow another few inches, and be allowed to wear golf spikes, I'd be happy.

We do Heaton is a very good Keeper but I would say, QPR, Forest, Coventry, Bristol City all have better keepers, Given is world class and would more or less guarantee automatic promotion .........

Marshall & heaton are not bad keepers but both have problems with height and dealing with high balls, Heaton is a better kicker and better for the high balls but I think Marshall is a penalty and goal stopper.

Shay Givin is one of the best Keepers in the country and I would be thrilled if we got him on until the end of the season

Having a keeper of Shay's quality would imo be a good thing for Heaton, surely he would learn alot from Shay and would also keep him on his toes fighting for a 1st team place......

where is there any evidence we are in for him though?

why would he want to drop a league any team in the country would have given as a second choice keeper
man city will still use him if hart is out without a second of a doubt

I don't see why Man City give him a chance at all, he doesn't even get a chance in the cups. Would be a brilliant capture for the bluebirds but Marshall or Heaton would have to be sold
