I went to Kuantan for 6 weeks on detachment with the RAF. we stayed in the MS garden hotel, all paid for. Superb time there and dead cheap to eat and drink.
Stopped in Kuala Lumpur on the way home for a few days. What an eye opener that place is!!!

Met a local today that knew all about the Bluebirds, that cheered me up. He even started rattling off players names
In the paper yesterday it published the Top 20 rich list for Malaysia, and VT has dropped 2 places to 12th. It said his personal future is approx £500 Million (It won't be by the time we are finished with him ).
Kuantan was a cracking place, but Penang is sooooo much better. Onto Hong Kong in the morning
Good luck to the boys tomorrow, wish I was going (Hong Kong is going to be so boring )
