Please and we would have stopped the goal last night. Just seen it again
Bothroyd not tight to Thommo and two other city players close by
Koumas covering the far post but noone on the other?

More than likely it was the Job of a player who had just gone off, and nobody else took up the role

Yes, Burke was defending the near post most of the game and when he went off they weren't sure what to do.
While they were organising the corner was taken and...
We still still had three players around the near post, but they weren't switched on.

I know this idea may be a bit revolutionary but how about having a keeper that can come off his line and cacth the ball at corners.

Heaton played very well last night and made a couple of very good saves!
Thompson made a run from the back corner of the penalty area (about 20-25 yards) for his goal, nobody picked him up and Heaton had no chance to save his header!
If Heaton had gone to the near post and the ball had gone in by the back post, you'd have blamed him for that as well!

Bothroyd may have had a chance of catching it, but not Heaton!
