According to a mate who collected tickets Today and an e mail from someone at the FAW...Over 59,000 tickets now sold to WELSH fans...still a few thousand left but I am sure this will sell out within the next two weeks.ENGLAND HAVE SOLD OUT THEIR 9,000??? TICKETS WEEKS AGO

good stuff...... cant wait for this one, living in england, id love to get 1 over the english, esp the ones i work with, they are convinced they will win easily

A BUSY DAY FOR HEDDLU

It was not an obvious sell out at all...NO TICKETS WILL GO ON GENERAL SALE (That was always the rule for this game) so we were worried that being a member only thing that tickets would not sell out or worse English fans would get them....

However the new CEO at the FAW Jonathon Ford and his team listened to the fans groups and came up with schemes to sell the tickets to Welsh fans, they are as follows

Reduce prices to £25 and £15 and £5 for kids
Allow members to buy 5 tickets and allow people to become red members(free) to be able to buy tickets
Allow clubs to buy tickets and then refund those clubs 25% of the costs to help the clubs out...so if Treharris athletic football club bought 100 tickets at £25 each, they would cost Treharris £2,500...the club then received 100 tickets and a FAW cheque for £625...this scheme sold over 25,000 tickets alone.

So with tickets never going on general sale there was a real worry that this game would not sell out.

ENgland had allocation of 7,500 for the game - had to register about three months ago - over 14,000 plus applied

If you had 15 caps or more based on previous last two years home and away games you would guarantee a ticket a small percentage on 14 caps then you went into mini ballot and the reamining 30% go into ballot

AAll tickets were sold about three weeks ago over the weekend and then on monday 50 tickets not taken up went into a first come first served basis for all the other fans that applied that did not get one - bet that was fun

Our entire 11 a side team are behind the one goal. I can't wait for this game it's going to be amazing. It's a nothing to lose game for us!

the web mentions "The FAW is no longer accepting ticket applications for this match. Due to overwhelming demand we are now in a position to suspend ticket sales for the time being ."

The big question is anyone selling 2 tickets for me and boys not silly prices..

Just got news FAW has sold all 75.000 tickets for Wales v England on Saturday March 26 of which 59.000 Welsh fans. Exactely what we need!
