NON FOOTIE: TV LICENCE

Anyone not bother getting one?

I haven't bothered renewing mine yet and just had a letter saying I am under investigation.

Anyone know how strict they are?

My mate didnt have a license and got away with it. He stated he didnt watch any TV on his television, he just used his TV for playing on game consoles.

I got away with it ,when I lived in a 4th floor flat, the T.V liecence people were to lazy to climb the steps now I live in house ive got one, These Liecence detectors are very sharp, and its a heavy fine. so I,d pay it

You don't have to let them in.

Unless they have a police warrant to enter and search the premises they have no right to enter your home.
