Football fan jailed 4, 3 months

Just on the news up here that the guy who ran onto the pitch and punched a Stevenage player after the Newcastle game, sent down for 12 weeks.

thats fucked up, our lot gettin 16 months for chucking cones

F**king outrageous. so chucking a cone is worse,than invading the pitch and punching someone ? This country is a f**king joke.

He had a GBH conviction ive read elsewhere and hadn't long been out of jail.........

Crazy, the guy already had form and done time for violence.

Saw that on Sky Sports News just now...

They showed him running on the field, decking the kid, and running away celebrating.

The footballer was then surrounded and sort of helped up, but looked like a few other guys wanted to have a pop.

Also this attack was pre-meditated. The Sky reporter just said that the footballer who got floored,
was going out with the attackers' girlfriend a few months before.

my opinion the judicial system is so prejudice it is unbelievable sometimes well most times to be precise.
For me when it comes to football related crimes it revolves around two words and when the courts hear these two words everything else goes out the window.
Those two little words CARDIFF CITY, well lets face it STEVENAGE BOROUGH just doesn't have the same ring inside a courtroom ,there' are a few others that make them nervous too - MILL WALL, CHEL SEA, PORTS MOUTH, LEEDS UTD AND WEST HAM, if you support any of those five and end up in a court on football related charges 9 times out of 10 u are screwed.
