DAVID EDGAR REFUSED ENTRY TO JACKLAND

Burnley's David Edgar has been sent back up t'north by Swansea City after failing to be granted 'international clearance' to sign for them on loan....
Apparently, the Jacks thought they were getting Edgar Davids....but Chairman Huw 'The Mean' Jenkins said tonight: "It was an easy mistake to make. Our staff hunted high and low for a quality player and we thought we'd bagged a bargain but alas, it was not to be...."
He further added: "I'll take it in the chin, as worse things happen at sea, such as losing to those mighty Bluebirds from the metropolis down the road. But I'll tell you what, theat's the last fecking time I lend Trundle the phone book when he's scouting for us again!!"
