its a sad state of affairs for football as a whole.
surely its about time someone started looking at the causes? and putting things in place to avoid it happening, for e.g capping players wages etc.. if nothing is done i can see this game of ours dying out.

Can you imagine that scene? Are they just going to get all the clubs together for a laugh. I've heard Plymouth and Coventry are in trouble as well!

Borley and Guy will have paid it just before then, Borley reassures me.

Just before? So the embargo won't be lifted before the end of the transfer window, so there won't be any players coming in?
So why are we waiting until the end of Jan before we start the demonstrations to get Ridsdale out?

That is an extremely good question.

I suppose the answer is that only at the end of January can it be shown beyond all doubt that all the promises made for the end of January have been broken. In the meantime Ridsdale is looking down the back of the sofa to see if he can find £2.7 million somewhere.

I've got that £2.7m for him. Right here... *raises the one fingered salute*.

I'm not sure what the best action to fix this problem.may be an independent financial committe performing audits of club by club throught the season.
Or a cap on the amount of credit clubs can run up,before points get deducted.
