Certainly hope thats the case down the Vale this week.
Just watched the highlights back, Jay has missed an absolute sitter in the first half. It wasnt a great save by Camp at all, Jay has passed it straight at him! Hes had loads of time to place his shot and at the very least needs to 'work' the keeper. Very poor for an England international striker. But not just him, I know its heat of the moment and split second decisions, but Oli has brought a great save from Camp but would have scored had he gone near post! Harsh maybe, but it sums up our finishing (the odd goal aside) in general over the last few months IMO. There have been a lack of goals of late and yesterday relied on a debatable pen.
On the plus NF knew they had been in a tough game yesterday, and finishing aside very proud of our players and our contribution to what looked like a quality advert for our league, also well done to the 3k that made the trip, just wish i could do away days!
Bring on Leicester on Tues, lets roar em on to victory like we did last season when Gabors rugby tackle saw us down to ten men.
