Rumours are flying that the latest popular uprising following those in North Africa and the Middle East was in the small Unionist enclave of Swansea, a town situated on a rubbish tip 40 miles west of Cardiff.

Locals have been enraged by the steep rise in Calor Gas fuel and threats from the Welsh Assembly to introduce a ‘Peg’ Tax.

Protestors paralysed daily life by occupying the JobCentrePlus and Castle Bingo vowing to stay there until at least suppertime.

However, the rebellion seems to be fading fast today as confirmed by a statement from one of the protest leaders who would only give his name as ‘Jack’, he said “Keeping the protest going is dam hard work as most of us are only used to getting out of bed once a fortnight to sign on”

Police say they expected things to get back to normal very quickly and that included tomorrow’s Championship fixture where they fully expected the JB’s to lose 3-0.
