One of todays papers says...
"Wigan keeper Chris Kirkland is ready to sign for promotion-chasing CARDIFF- Once he gets over a virus"
"The Bluebirds are prepared to pick up a large chunk of his wages and the 6ft 3in England cap will head to Wales this week."
"The Latics are happy for third choice Kirkland,29,go on loan"
