Koumas in the bookies

Thu Mar 03, 2011 1:02 am

Saw Jason Koumas in the bookies for about the 20th time earlier today, usually don't hear a peep out of him even though he's always with the same loud mate, but today he was cursing and swearing loudly every time he lost a £30 per spin bet on the roulette machine, seems pretty strange really for someone on probably like £20,000 a week, i reckon he might be heading past the Chopra stage and towards the Matty Etherington stage of a gambling addiction to be honest!

Still my 2nd fave player ever since I've been going down the City after his season a few years back, and wonder goal against Leeds etc... only behind Super Kev ;)

and i still reckon he's quality and might have big part to play for us this season :) especially if Ramsey doesnt come back :(

He has more chance of playing in the bookies than on pitch, he looks well past his playing days .Shame really he was a decent player the last time he played for us. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Koumas as I said before is still not the same player as before on the pitch and in his state of mind.

He was one of my favourite players before.

And people wonder why his heads not with it...

Your club needs to rein these players in & get them the required help. Losing £1000's then expecting to play football.....just aint gonna happen.

stan, i think, cardiff city got these players on loan, drinkwater being one of them, not that impressive really, so the city phoned man ure, and said, i know we got a contract with drinkwater untill the end of season, but its not working out, can you stop the contract, yes said, manure no problem,,,,, then they went to wigan, , i know we got a contract untill the end of season, with koumas, but can we end it,,,,,,,,,,,,,after they stopped laughing, they said no way, a contract has been signed, hes your player,, more laughing

Yea fair points ninian. I actually forgot he was on loan with you lads.

Its a shame because he is a top footballer. Anytime he played against us I hated it because he caused so many problems, he looks a shadow of that player now. Now Ramsey has gone back & you are lacking quality in the middle of the pitch what's the chances of JK being asked to do a job?

Spot on. I don't understand how when it's so bloody obvious he's just seemingly allowed to carry on as he is. If it was a profession where his gambling habits didn't affect his performance then let him do what he wants but it clearly is so it requires intervention! Especially because it's our money technically that's funding this addiction!

i still think he could be class for us until the end of the season, IF, and its an unlikely if, they play him in centre midfield and not on the wing... i definitely think he can still open up defences :ayatollah:
