Can anyone give a dog a home?!

Is anyone able to give a home to a one year old Rottweiler as soon as possible. My mother is unable to look after him and is planning on having to have him destroyed as none of the 'dogs charities' are willing to take in a rottweiler.

He would be suited to being trained as a guard dog as he can be very protective though will need an owner who will be authoritive.
