RAMSEY, WILL HE GET A GAME?????

Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:14 pm

Aaron was a non playing sub for arsenal yesterday, for me that was his best chance of getting a game for them considering it was at home against a mid table team and they were down to bare bones. Next up they are away to barcelona, he,s not going to start that one, then next weekend they are away to man utd in the cup (he,s not going to start that one either) that takes us to sat 19th march where most of their injury problems will be over and ramsey will have not played in 3 weeks, basically puting him back to square one, surely it would make sence for all concerned to let him come back to us on a 24 hour call back????

Errm, what?

He's close enough to Prem action to be on the bench. Wenger wants him at Arsenal; Arsenal play a good passing style. We don't. We play knock it long to underperforming midgets and someone performing a poor audition for Dancing on Ice.

Wenger owes us zip, nada, nothing.

I,m talking puerly from a playing games point of view, wenger said he needs games which he was getting with us, if he doesn,t get a game back at arsenal this season then what good is that to the lad? dj has already said that aaron just wants to play, we all know eventually that he,ll be back in the arsenal 1st team but i just can,t see it happening this season!!!!

Wenger wanted him to get games to build up his match fitness for his return to the first team squad.

You think training / playing with us is better for Rambo than the top notch training he receives at Arsenal?

He's close enough to match fitness to be on the bench for them. He'll feature at some point.

Well that is a matter of opinion, with man utd getting thumped today arsenal are now right on their shirt tails, if he couldn,t get a game yesterday when they had so many injuries how is he going to get a game when all the big name players are back?? training with the first team squad week after week doesn,t keep you match fit!!!!!

Sigh.

Then the entire subs bench for Arsenal clearly aren't match fit then.

Rambo is close enough to full fitness to be on the bench. Not fit enough to start. Wenger makes substitutions based upon HIS view of what is needed for the club HE manages. He clearly felt Rambo wouldn't improve the midfield for yesterday's game. That's his call, that's why he's consistently kept Arsenal in Europe despite spending a fraction of other teams.

I'd say his judgment is somewhat better than that of a manager who struggles to get out of the Championship.
