it would feel terribly wrong for QPR and us if we get autopromoted, but hey, thats football, surely yall would rather watch Bluebirds in Prem than in Championship

When all this is sorted a good topic of conversation will be 'what caused the biggest points deduction, Gianni Paladini dodgy administrive practises or Dave Jones' tactics'

Have you read the charges? Nio way it would be only 2-3 points.

Luton used an unauthorised agent, got deducted 10. Given far more charges levelled at QPR, it'll be a lot more than that.

As I said it's just a feeling as the FA may want to avoid this mess ending up in court or creating another West Ham/Sheffield United situation by applying a punishment which still gives all sides a fair chance

Point being tho, the West Ham situation occured before the third party rules came in, hence the FA/PL could only act within their regulations at the time, and only deal with the issues within their rules they could act upon, namely the paperwork issues.

From reading the charges, it appeared the Fl noticed something; referred it to the FA as the FL didn't have rules in place to handle it at that point. FA spoke to QPR about it, telling them to correct it - FA now seem to feel QPR didn't live up to that and have covered it up.

No association can factor potential legal action or affecting promotions/relegations into things - otherwise there's zero consistency.

IF the seven charges are proven, then they aren't the result of innocent mistakes - they will be due to a deliberate attempt to circumvent the rules.

there's zero chance a small point deduction or fine would occur.

A very elegant explanation Nerd and if QPR were found guilty as charged on ALL accounts then no doubt they would be in dire shite. I just have a feeling (nothing more) that they will mitigate enough evidence in their defence to avoid that and escape with a smaller punishment.

I would say that OPR will lose a lot more than 2-3 point for what they did.

And Neil Warnock was the one to push hard for consistent rules
Oh the irony.

He means the penalty would be ALOT higher than a small point deduction!

Other fan bases might say Cardiff didnt go up on merit, but that can't have much basis as its the FA's rules not ours.
It's defo not a problem if we finish 1st.
Ultimately there's not a darn thing we can do about it, the QPR decision is out of our hands.
All we can do is make sure our club and team do their best...and finish as high in the table as possible. Some might say that's 7th, I hope it's 1st :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
