Suarez- would be there or there abouts. Awesome in world cup and transforming liverpools dismal season right around.

Rooney- over rated / payed thug. 3rd in the pecking order this season behind berbatov and hernandez. Scored one amazing goal however his behaviour is nothing short of appauling. The FA are also a joke for letting him get away with that elbow in the face of the wigan player. Coward you wouldnt see him trying that on with the likes of joey barton would u..............

In all seriousness, I'd say that five except number 5 is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is having a great season so far. He's become the fastest player to score 50 goals in a Madrid top. Something like 50 goals in 53 games? I think next season, after going this season without injury, he's going to step it up a notch to try and take on Messi for best player in the world.

The only reason Messi is regarded a better player is because Ronaldo is such a massive c**t. Even if he was the best people would find it hard to admit it. I think Messi and Ronaldo are a lot closer than people think.

Rooney won't even get in the Premiership team of the season which will be picked later this month by his fellow professionals !

Are all worth a mention imo, and a few others on current form.

It hard to put the less classy players in there, but defensive players such as A.COLE / VIDIC / PUYOL/ CAMBIASSO / BUSQUETS etc would be up there if we are judging on the job they are set out to do for their team.
