1/ His attitude towards the younger players
2/ His attitude towards the supporters
3 His tactical no how and playing the wrong formation at the wrong times

Gave Cardiff City Stability in this Division (but at a high cost on wages to players and himself).
Finds some excellent Scottish players
Has the same ability regarding Tactics as My Husky









HAS NO PLAN B.
He Bottles it(Known in my football world as a nearly man).
No passion.
Arrogant.
Never admits when he is wrong.
Treats players with no respect if they stand up to him.
Does not support our young players enough.

2. Can pick excellent players from lower leagues/with a chequered past.

THE WAY HE MANAGES ROGUE PLAYERS AND GETS THEM PLAYING EG KOUMAS 1ST TIME,JAY

1.Brings in players on cheap deals and turning them into multi million pound players.

2.Gets the best out of players who are seen as excellent players but troubled.

1.Stays too loyal to his team for too long despite results.

2.Comes across as a cold person with very little feeling towards our club.

3.Pouts too easily especially with the press and pundits and even message boards.

Just to add 2 more points : Starting to play players out of position of late.

Good:
1 - Seems to have a good eye for a player / bargain
2- Has done well with some players who haven't reached their potential elsewhere
3- Has been our best performing manager for as long as I can remember

Bad:
1 - Too much pride / stubborn / arrogant (not sure which or maybe all three)
2 - Tactically inept
3 - Doesn't seem to be able to adapt to a changing game. Makes poor / late substitutions etc

This is just a view from afar but it seems to me that he lacks the required man management skills to motivate and nurture a squad of players. Any manager (and not just of a football team) needs to have a wide range of skills that include the ability to nurture people when necessary and be firm when it is required. I get the impression that DJ is too one dimensional and perhaps takes things too personally. If you get off on the wrong foot with him or fall out with him, there is no way back. People might not like each other but that doesn't mean that they can't work together effectively. To be honest I haven't seen Adam Matthews play much but it saddens me to see a YOUNG player who was once touted as a future premier league star roasted by DJ in the media and never given a chance to play for City again.

Out of interest does anyone know of any players who have fallen out of favour with DJ and then made it back into the team and given a second chance? Seems like a bit of a one way street...

Best:
1/ What you see is what you get. No talent, no effort, no passion but a calm exterior pretending that all is well .
2/ never barred from the touch line through too much exuberance
3/ never afraid to have a go at youngsters publicly.

Worst:
1/ No foresight!
2/ No talent for spotting suitable players. So many that he's brought in just don't make the grade.
3/ can't build a TEAM
