Dave jones Official Excuse Thread

I'm feeling sorry for our beleaguered manager, he's running out of excuses now so thought I'd start a thread to help him out (because we know he reads this forum). Let's make a list of excuses our manager can trot out the next time we play like a bunch of heartless mercenaries. I'll kick us off:

1. We switched off, the boys saw a UFO when the opposition attacked !
